Shot Show 2024 New Products – Top Guns, Gear, and Tech
Shot Show, short for “Shooting, Hunting, and Outdoor Trade Show,” is the annual American trade show for hunting, shooting sports, and the firearm manufacturing industry, presented by the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF).
SHOT is the biggest industry-only gun event in the world, along with the IWA & Outdoor Classics (“IWA Nuremberg”), held annually in Nuremberg, Germany, which is also sponsored by the NSSF.
Historically, the inaugural Shot Show was held in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1979 with 5,600 attendees. In 2022, there were around 43,000 people attending the Shot Show in Las Vegas.
Shot Show 2024 took place between January 23 – 26, 2024 at the Venetian Expo + Caesars Forum in Las Vegas. Let’s discuss the most notable new products from the 2024 show:
Shot Show 2024: Noteworthy Talking Points
- New Rifles
- New Handguns
- New Shotguns
- New Optics
1. New Rifles
There are some pretty interesting modern rifles coming out in 2024. Our first talking point is American Tactical’s TRX Bronco. This firearm is constructed using a modular chassis, features a folding stock, bolt-action, an AR10-compatible,.308 WIN, box magazine, and a 16.5” barrel.
Weighing 6.9 pounds, the TRX Bronco has a one-inch MOA accuracy guarantee and (remove-It) is available in black and tan for $1,499.95.
Another intriguing new rifle is the Lupo HPR. Intended to raise the bar for a bolt-action rifle and designed for long-range hunting, this firearm comes with a factory guarantee to shoot sub-MOA (3/4-inch, five shots).
The HPR is chambered for the most widely used long-range calibers (6.5 PRC, 6.5 Creedmoor,.338 LM,.300 PRC,.300 WM, and.308 WIN), and it is based on the Benelli Lupo Chassis system.
With the heavy-contour straight-fluted Crio free-floating barrel and custom-fit stock system, the new Lupo HPR is a long-range rifle that combines the handling elegance and accuracy of a custom bolt-action with the functionality of a chassis rifle.
Last but not least, we have the Cascade XT, part of the precision-oriented bolt-action rifles series from BPI Outdoors. It comes with a four-shot detachable magazine, suppressor-ready muzzle, and a 4140 carbon-steel fluted barrel. Available in .243, .22-250, .204 Ruger, and .223 calibers. The retail price is $825-$875.

2. New Handguns
Dickinson Arms’ new ADAM Series of 1911s follows the golden standards set by the iconic 1911 pistol, displaying attention to detail and superb craftsmanship.
Available in both 9mm and .45 ACP, it boasts a forged steel barrel, slide, and frame. Models in 9x19mm Parabellum have a barrel length of 4.37 inches, an overall length of 7.87 inches, and a single-stack capacity of nine rounds; models in .45 ACP have a barrel length of 5 inches, an overall length of 8.5 inches, and a capacity of seven rounds. Both come with a synthetic grip and can be found with either a satin chrome or blued finish.
The Premium models come in a wide range of specialized finishes, and all of them come with wooden packaging options and are customizable.
The Girsan Witness 2311 is a double-stacked 1911 designed to compete at a reasonable price. With its modern, ergonomic grips, optic-ready slide (RMS/RMSc), accessory rail, and choice of barrel lengths, calibers, and model combinations, this semi-automatic handgun is state-of-the-art, but at an affordable price.
Within a sector where high standards are sometimes associated with expensive products, the Witness 2311 is a genuine game-changer, coming at a starting price of $999.
Another great handgun recommendation coming from the Shot Show 2024 is the Rossi Brawler. This pistol is chambered in .410 shotshell/.45 Colt and features a break-open, hammer-fired, single-shot design. The nine-inch pistol comes ready with both front and rear iron sights.
The Brawler, at 14 inches long and 38 ounces, is quite large, but it’s designed with user convenience and reliability in hard environments, such as the woods, in mind. It has a thick rubber grip and the Picatinny rail lets you attach the optic of your choosing. A black oxide coating covers the steel receiver and is protected by a polymer over-mold for a steal at just $239.

3. New Shotguns
Benelli is known as being the leader in advanced shotgun technology, so it is no surprise that they continue to push the boundaries with the all-new Advanced Impact barrel system available in their new line of semi-auto shotguns for 2024.
The Advanced Impact technology’s ground-breaking new ballistic barrel bore shapes and choke increase downrange shot column energy and velocity, allowing for up to 50% deeper penetration and improved pellet density than with barrels made with previous technology.
Next, the CD Defense Hydra 902 Bullpup/AR lower combo shotgun has an upper (removed “chamber”) for 12-gauge shells, measuring 3 inches, and it can be attached to two different lower receivers: one to configure it as a bullpup and the other for AR-style. Shooters can switch between these two hugely popular platforms thanks to their purposefully-designed lower receivers.
Another great shotgun for 2024 is targeted at turkey shooters. The new 940 Pro Waterfowl optic-ready model is a 12-gauge, 3-inch autoloader with a 28-inch vent-rib barrel that can be used with an AccuChoke and a front fiber-optic HiViz CompSight.
Three chokes are included for your customization while out on a hunt in unforgiving conditions. Patriot Brown weather-resistant Cerakote finish on the receiver and barrel’s metal surfaces complements the Mossy Oak Vintage Shadowgrass camouflage stock and forend. The retail price comes in at $1246.

4. New Optics
Designed to meet the increasing demands of shooters in 3-gun competitions, hunting, and recreational shooting, the EOTECH Vudu X Series unlocks the power of precision in both 1-6x24mm ($799) and 2-12x40mm ($849).
Both models include a 30mm diameter tube, CR2032 battery-powered illuminated SFP reticles, and a detachable throw lever for rapid magnification range changes. The PD1 duplex design and the BD1, which offers more circular ballistic hold adjustments, are two types of reticles that are available. Turrets have zero reset, MOA adjustments, and are capped.
The new CMR8 Close to Medium Range 1-8x24mm ($399) rifle scope is the answer to accurate and fast up-close shooting. With a zero at 50 to 200 yards, the b-Dot fiber-optic illuminated reticle offers accurate reference markings up to 600 yards and a daylight-bright center dot calibrated for both .223 and.308 calibers.
Next up are the optics that use PARD digital imaging technology that combines a 4K high-definition night-vision sensor, a ballistics calculator, and a laser rangefinder into a single unit. That’s right, the DS37-LRF 4K features all of that and more.
It also has a night vision sensor with a resolution of 4096 x 2160 and a 70mm lens that offers a field of view of 9.7 x 5.1 degrees. On top of that, it has two digital and optical magnifications of 2 and a sensitivity of.001 lux.
