So I love 9mm here’s a couple reasons, I for one think it’s more common. Two it has better penetration than 45 over all with better velocity, three typically speaking 9mm handguns have better capacity and a lower weight. And the selection of manufacturers and models is very wide so if u break one 9mm odds of you finding another are very high. 45 definitely has stopping power but I don’t know if stopping power wins it versus all the other benefits of 9mm

I compete with both, and reload for both, but prefer 9mm for carry, just to be able to pack a few more rounds in a smaller, lighter gun.

I grew up shooting the .45 and love the caliber and the old 1911 carry gun. Kinda new to 9mm ownership and like the couple I have. Y’all hit the nail in the head with capacity…..I carry both from time to time all depends on where i/we go.
