If you have ever been to Delmarva Law Enforcement Supply in Dagsboro, Delaware, then you have more than likely also been unfortunate enough to meet the owner/primary store worker. This mentally unstable, grumpy, unpleasant, rude, demeaning, perpetually angry, outwardly racist, and ticking time bomb of a failed police officer walks around his store with a loaded gun on his hip, which is his right as an American, though I doubt any sane individual would grant this man a carry permit after seeing the way he conducts himself in his store for even just a day. His part-time employee “Zachary” or “Ian” is a little better, though he is a known drug addict and delinquent who is doomed to a never-ending series of outrageous fights, break ups, and reunions with the mother of his many children, who is just as disreputable as he is. But I digress, I have known multiple people who have left this store abruptly due to feeling threatened by the explosive rage issues displayed by it’s armed owner, who flaunts his weapon in an outside the waistband holster rather than attempting to conceal it with an inside the waistband or other concealed carry holster, which is the carry method preferred by just about everyone with real-world tactical knowledge. However, considering that he couldn’t cut it even as a town cop (which might I say, is pretty sad considering how easy it is to become a town cop in this area, especially when compared to state police), maybe he never learned this little well-known fact, OR maybe he likes to intimidate his potential buyers. I have yet to speak with someone who isn’t a wealthy 50+ year-old white male coming in to spend at least $500. I have first hand accounts of a 25-year-old man going in with his backwards hat and shorts after a beach day, going to checkout with $135 worth of ammo just for the owner to say “is that all you’re going to buy? Don’t you want anything else?” Like him spending $135 on overpriced ammo he could’ve gotten online for 1/4 of the price was somehow not worth his 30 seconds of time it takes to scan the boxes and checkout. O yes, almost ALL of his items are CONSISTENTLY available online for 1/3-1/2 of the price he charges in his store if you order them from any one of several websites. But again I digress, the point here is that entering this “business” could be potentially dangerous, especially after hearing the account of a man who says the owner pulled his weapon (gun) on him after he asked the owner to stop being so rude and impolite. I’ve said what I’ve had to say. I’ve been watching for years and I have no idea why he is still in business, nobody in their right mind would want to shop there knowing what I (and you now) know.
