I bothers me because the AFT Eform system was supposed to get the wait times down to 90 days. If you check the posts on Reddit, the paper forms are going through faster the the electronic ones. The theory being is that since everyone has switch to eforms, the paper stack is getting smaller.

It’s just frustrating that when I purchased my suppressor back in May, they were averaging 120 days for Eform 4. Now they are averaging 273 days. I am past that and it’s frustrating for me to see others who purchased their suppressor in June, already getting their tax stamp.

In looking at everybody’s numbers, (as listed on Reddit) it looks like the ATF is doing about 5500 per week. And it is believed that there is only about 37 examiners. When I purchased my suppressor back in June, they were averaging 125 days or so.

I like it and haven’t had any reliability issues with it. I will be the first to admit that it isn’t pretty. I’m going to get the new 10mm handgun when I can find one.
