Tip up barrel means no slide to rack, is very concealable. The Browning 1911-380 is a great pistol also, maybe a little bigger than what you’re looking for.

In fact, a lot of people have never even heard of it. Designed in 1884, it is the parent cartridge for the 30-30 Winchester. For 75 yards or less, especially in thick cover, it’s still my favorite.
