Reply To: Fake Vendors and Scams

    Scams come in all forms but the most common I’ve come across are:

    • websites with no physical mailing address
    • only accepting payment via paypal, bitcoin
    • claiming to be able to send you firearms without an FFL (directly to your home)
    • invites through telegram, whatsapp to private groups claiming to sell firearms
    • instagram pages with stolen media that redirect you off instagram

    One way I like to check whether a company is legit is on https://www.reddit.com/r/gundealsFU/. If you don’t see the business in question, wouldn’t hurt to ask around.

    As for businesses listed officially by ArmsDirectory, I am confident they have a vetting process and speak to authentic business owners. Check out their Trusted Brands tab for other useful and vetted services.
